The greatest resource at the Respite Center is our outstanding staff.
- Family Service Workers, our social worker staff, have master’s degrees in social work,
guidance and counseling, or equivalent experience. They schedule child care, provide crisis
intervention and short-term counseling, make referrals, and advocate for parents. They help
parents build upon their strengths while getting back on their feet.
- Child Care Specialists have varying backgrounds, combining formal education with experience
caring for children with diverse needs. Child Care Specialists provide children from birth through
fourteen with nurturing care, attending to their physical needs while promoting their emotional
well-being, and helping them build resiliency.
- Administrative staff work to promote the program as a whole, keeping the agency fiscally
sound, and focused on our mission of providing the best possible service that is useful to
families during times of stress and transition.
